Don’t Forget About Procrastinators!

Are you looking for ways to give your sales one last boost in 2008? Many of us, me included, have the best intentions of planning ahead for holidays gifts but we get caught up in everything going on around us. If it happens to us, it happens to our clients! Many of them are just now scrambling to decide what to do for holiday gifts for clients, employee appreciation, b2b gifts, etc… and the good news is that it’s not to late!! Many suppliers offer 24 hour service at no additional charge and will take orders until Dec. 21st. WOW! My advice…. look at your sales from Nov. & Dec. last of 2007 and compare those to 2008. Is there a client missing that ordered holiday gifts last year but you have not heard from them yet? If so, call them… they can probably use the reminder. It’s also a good time to talk to them about 1st Qtr. 2009 projects (& how they can potentially save money by ordering now to avoid price increases), calendars- in many cases if you’re not doing them somebody else is- and just touch base to let them know that you’re always available if they need anything. Oh, don’t forget to call your new clients as well.

Moral of the story… Don’t Forget About Procrastinators! They could be the year end boost in sales you were shooting for!
